The liquid separator AS 2 ATEX H2
is designed in straight form and was specially developed for Ex areas and hydrogen applications. It offers conformity to ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and DIN EN ISO 80079-36, grounding lug on the valve housing and electrically conductive components.
The optimised flow geometry allows a separation performance of 99 %. The maximum separation capacity is achieved at a flow velocity of 25 – 30 m/s, the flow velocity should not exceed 35 m/s.
Being entirely constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel 316L, they can be used universally, i.e. especially for corrosive media.
The integrated trap automatically drains the collected liquid without loss of steam or gas. This works without delay or impairment by back pressure or pressure fluctuations. No additional auxiliary energy is required.
For a nominal width of DN 15 - 25 and G 1/2 - 1, the outlet is arranged at the bottom, and for a nominal width of DN 40 - 50 and G 1 1/2 - 2, it is arranged laterally.
